Having a great smile enables us to stand out for all the right reasons and it’s never too late to have orthodontic treatment and enjoy the benefits of a beautiful, straight smile! More and more adults are now seeking orthodontic treatment to correct crowding, missing teeth or simply to improve their smile.
We offer a range of aesthetic braces for both children and adults that can be fitted either on the inside (lingual braces) or the outside (white braces) of your teeth and are very discreet.
We have a reduced fee scale for patients under the age of 18 who wish to have treatment with conventional stainless steel braces or require treatment with removable appliances.
Appointments for a private assessment can either be made directly or via referral by your dentist.
Our orthodontists will carry out a thorough assessment and outline the various treatment options to you. We may take photographs at this visit. Our Treatment Co-ordinator will show you our appliance systems and give you a quotation of fees.
To book an initial private consultation with our Principal Orthodontist, Dr Amit Coonar, please call us on 020 8449 3022
If you wish to proceed with treatment, a second appointment will be made for x-rays, photographs and casts of your teeth. We will provide you with a written copy of your treatment plan and a payment scheme.
Appointments will be made for the fit of your brace, and we will then see you for adjustment appointments every 6 to 8 weeks. The total treatment time is variable, but is generally around 18 months.
Having your braces fitted
Having your braces fitted is nothing to be worried about. We will do our utmost to explain what to expect and give you lots of advice on how to look after your braces. You can view our instructional video to watch a preview.
After treatment, we will fit retainers to maintain your new smile and will continue to check your retainers every 3 months for a period of 12 months at no further charge. After 12 months, further retainer checks are charged at £35 per visit.
Retainers need to be worn at night, throughout life.
Additional fees are only charged for the replacement of lost or broken appliances; or for the repair of excessive breakages.
It is really important that you continue to attend for your routine check-ups with your General Dentist at regular intervals, throughout your orthodontic treatment.
