Invisalign clear teeth aligners are the perfect answer if you hate the thought of fixed braces. Using sets of aligners, these clear aligners progressively ease your teeth into their new positions, straightening them and filling the gaps between.
As each set of aligners is uniquely created just for you, they’re comfortable to wear. And, because the aligners are clear, they’re hardly visible, so you don’t need to feel self-conscious while wearing them.
They’re also easy to use. When you want to eat or clean your teeth – just take the Invisalign aligner out – so your mouth stays fresh and clean with none of the hygiene problems you can get with traditional ‘permanent’ braces.
Why choose Invisalign?
- Clear – virtually invisible aligners
- Customised – tailor-made aligners
- Removable – eat, drink, brush and floss as normal
- Comfortable – no metal brackets or wires
- Effective – enjoy the benefits of a beautiful smile
Treatment time varies from person to person depending on the complexity of the straightening issue. We will discuss this with you before treatment begins so you know what to expect. Treatment with Invisalign typically takes around twelve to eighteen months.
Invisalign can be used to treat a range of straightening issues such as overcrowded teeth, widely spaced teeth, cross bites and open bites. We can assess your suitability for treatment at your pre-assessment appointment.
A digital impression of your teeth will be taken with our state-of-the-art iTero scanner. From here a treatment plan will then be created showing a 3D representation of the movements your teeth. It will also show you how you can expect your teeth to look at the end of treatment.
During your treatment you will be provided with sets of clear aligners to wear for one to two weeks at a time. As you progress through the series of aligners your teeth will gradually move towards their final straight position.
You will need to visit the practice for check-ups about every 6 weeks so that we can monitor your progress and check that you are comfortable with the treatment.
